As Spain has no real federation there are many not organised clubs ... one of them is giving out CAT what stands for Catelonia i believe.

Offcourse this rider has to do some licence exam before he can participate. APC8 has arranged temporary insurance for them.

Riding whatever the level Reply to this Post Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Posts Report Post to a Moderator       Go to the top of this page

On open category, I saw people with ability to be in the master one, this bring the open competition without any interest for the one which are far from the master level. Frown
On the other side, some competitors in the open list are more like beginners, without any test or licence exam passed.
For my point of view the best pilots riding in the open category should be switch to the master one, and beginners should be authorized.

"As we expected the number of pilots for this weekend's Eurocups has overshot the 100 mark. Two parkings for the pilots, helpers and spectators will therefore be at your disposal.

From friday midday onwards directions will be posted at the A16 exits which will guide you to the parking areas. The main parking area is located in the GCU Camping area, Impasse du GCU. As this is usually a camping site it will be divided into multiple segments. We have mesured these segments and we can fit 2 cars on each so please bear in mind that many people will be arriving so we would greatly appreciate if you could bunch up as much as convientely possible.

Although it is a camping site, in normal circumstances, overnight camping will not be allowed on it on this occasion. Various camping sites and Bed n' Breakfast (gites) in the area have been largely communicated to you.

Please also take special care to put all your rubbish in the bins provided. It is very important that the site is respected by all.
Local officials will be monitoring the entire area for the duration of the event. The nature reserve area which is located directly east of our riding zone (towards Gravelines or if you're looking towards the sea then directly to your right) is strictly Out Of Bounds. Local officials will be patrolling this area. Anyone venturing into this zone will cause serious problems, both immediate and future, to this event, the local Kite Hemmes Oye association and our sport in general. This must be avoided at all costs !!

For those staying at the Argousiers camping we would ask you to arrive by foot in order to free up parking space for those not able to stay close by. It's only 700m to the technical zone and again will be clearly sign posted.

Thank you very much for your comprehension and have fun"

Thomas from Kite Hemmes Oye.
